What (or who) do we idolize?

I was thinking about idols today. Not like the little statues or whatever, but just anything any person might love to the point of idolatry. We do it without thinking or realizing it. We become so obsessed with a person or item that it becomes more to us than an object. It becomes something we think about a lot, and love more than we should. I idolize things too, I'm not perfect. I think everyone idolizes things to some extent, but sometimes we, as people take things farther than we should. And then when I think about idols, I think about what God has to say about that.

“What profit is an idol when its maker has shaped it, a metal image, a teacher of lies? For its maker trusts in his own creation when he makes speechless idols!  Habbakuk 2:18

Those who pay regard to vain idols forsake their hope of steadfast love.  Jonah 2:8

And the rest of it he makes into a god, his idol, and falls down to it and worships it. He prays to it and says, “Deliver me, for you are my god!”   Isaiah 44:17
(Don't we do that though? We look to celebrities and people we want to be like to see how they would act.)
